LICENSES

This page summarizes the standard license attached to Hallowix Studios marketplace products unless a listing or written agreement expressly states different terms.

1. Buyer license

After a valid purchase, the buyer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the purchased Minecraft build/map for the buyer’s own projects, worlds or servers consistent with the product listing.

2. What you may not do

  • Resell, redistribute, re-upload, sublicense or give away the original downloadable files.
  • List the build or substantially identical files on another marketplace.
  • Claim authorship of the underlying build or remove creator/Hallowix attribution where the listing requires it.
  • Use the files to create a competing downloadable product whose primary value is the redistributed Hallowix build.

3. Creator authorship and marketplace rights

The individual builder/creator remains credited for creative authorship. For content accepted into the Hallowix marketplace, the creator grants Hallowix Studios the commercial distribution, sale and marketplace licensing rights agreed to under the Freelancer/Store Creator terms. A creator’s store being suspended or deactivated does not automatically erase historical authorship, listings, transaction records or rights already granted for accepted content.

4. Modifications

Buyers may generally modify a purchased build for their own permitted project. Modifying a build does not transfer authorship of the original asset and does not create a right to redistribute the source/download files.

5. Third-party assets

Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft trademarks and game assets remain subject to their respective owners’ rights. Any third-party content bundled with a listing remains subject to the applicable third-party license. Hallowix Studios is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

6. Special licenses

Enterprise, resale, white-label, exclusive or other expanded rights require an explicit written agreement from Hallowix Studios.
